130 MILES OF SINGLETRACK
Your membership directly supports the construction and maintenance of over 130 miles of singletrack trails with additional miles under construction. Your support also helps fund trail maintenance equipment, built the picnic pavilions at Tucker Hill (Croom) and Boyette, and provided emergency rescue gear for our first responders.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteer with SWAMP – Make an Impact!
Our Trail Crew volunteers meet weekly to keep our trails safe, fun, and well-maintained. Behind the scenes, our Board, IT team, ride guides, event staff, and many other volunteers keep the club running smoothly.
We are always looking for new people with fresh ideas to join our team. Volunteering with SWAMP is rewarding in countless ways—helping the community, sharing your skills, meeting fellow riders, and even earning community service credits.
No matter what your experience, there’s a place for you to make a difference. [Click here to see how you can help and join our volunteer team!]
BUILDING OUR COMMUNITY
SWAMP is continually advocating for new trails by networking with state and county land managers. We also collaborate with departments of tourism, local governments, and professional trail organizations to promote off-road cycling and sustainable trail systems across the Tampa Bay region.
Beyond building trails, we’re building people. SWAMP proudly sponsors several National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) race teams to help develop youth mountain biking programs for student-athletes. By supporting school-age riders through NICA, we’re growing the next generation of cyclists and outdoor leaders.
Our Ride Buddy Program connects new and returning riders with experienced mentors for guided rides, skills coaching, and trail support—helping riders of all ages gain confidence, fitness, and friendships on the trail.
We’re also expanding our outreach through partnerships with First Responders and Veterans groups. These collaborations create adaptive and therapeutic cycling opportunities, offering physical wellness, emotional healing, and a renewed sense of community for those who have served.
Together, these programs reflect SWAMP’s mission: to make mountain biking accessible, inclusive, and sustainable for everyone who calls Florida home.
