Croom Tucker Hill Day Use Area
About
Nestled in the Withlacoochee State Forest, Croom, with its limestone quarry pits and undulating terrain is unlike other trails we maintain. With 50 miles of singletrack, Croom has more miles and more elevation gain than our other trail systems. The longer distances combined with extended climbs can make for some epic, heart pounding, leg screaming rides. For those who want more than just distance and climbing, the abandoned quarries feature short but steep climbs and drops. Think of it as a BMX park for mountain bikes.
Croom WMA is a joint venture between Florida Forest Service and Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission. Please use links below for Forestry and FWC information. Swamp is a volunteer non profit that maintains the mountain biking/off-road cycling singletrack. For emergencies call 911. For specific hunting and usage questions please call Forestry or FWC.
