Multi-Use Trail: Biking, Hiking, Trail Running
Jay B Starkey Wilderness Park
About
Located in New Port Richey, Florida, Jay B Starkey Park has 24.4 mile loop of mountain bike singletrack. There are several places along the trail where taking a paved multiuser trail back to parking allows for shorter loops. There are 20.7 miles of green/beginner singletrack trails (4 total) and one 3.7 mile intermediate trail. Combine these with the nearby dedicated paved trails and you have a little something for everyone. You may see a variety of wildlife in the area as the trails are nestled in several acres of wildlife habitat.
Camping sites 1 and 3 are open for bike pack camping. You must reserve a site first. Bike racks are available at these two sites. Please review the trail map for route options.
