Blue Ridge & Ellijay - 10/21-10/27
Our fall adventure will be to a well known destination in north Georgia, for five days of riding the best intermediate level trails in the Blue Ridge and Ellijay area. Club members are invited to join us the week of October 21-27, 2023.
You can book your own B&B if you have a group, or rent a motel or camping spot. We can help with suggestions depending on your needs.
This can be the perfect ‘first trip’ for mountain riding. Rides may include Bull Mountain, Carter Lake, Jack Rabbit Mountain, Pinhoti Trail, Talking Rock, Tanasi, or maybe something new. Most rides last a couple hours, and all include moderate to challenging climbs. Fear not, there are no Black Diamond features.
A typical day would be breakfast at the lodge, carpool to location, ride (perhaps with lunch break), then back to lodging to cleanup. You can dine in or dine out. Rest assured, after many trips to Blue Ridge, we have a nice selection of restaurants that serve inexpensive food by the bucket load. : ) Nobody goes to bed hungry.
